Alberto Estrada, winner of the I Research Award EL TEU TARRAGONA

Alberto Estrada López, winner of the I Research Award “EL TEU Tarragona”, has joined the DP World Tarragona team to fulfill a 6 months training, by means of a scholarship given by the Terminal and the Foundation for the Diffusion of Knowledge and the Customs Law.

The Jury, formed by agents of the academic, ports and customs communities, recognized in its deliberation the quality and contributions of the presented study by Estrada, that was focused its attention in the analysis of the competitivity of the intermodal corridor between the Port of Tarragona and the center of the Iberian Peninsula, for container traffic, by establishing a dry port named Puerto Seco Tarraco.

Alfonso González, Managing Director of the Terminal, has manifested: “We are sure that the incorporation of Alberto Estrada will mean an appreciated collaboration for us, at the same time that it will permit him to establish contact with the business world, and in this way, gain experience. By its part, Ariadna Arola, representing the Foundation has highlighted the “importance of this type of initiatives that try to offer opportunities to talented youngster, in a highly dynamic and competitive sector”.
